I want to know if it's really true that Beacon Hill residents aren't supposed to put their trash out at the curb until after midnight the night before/morning of trash collection. Because that's what I heard somewhere, but not anywhere official, and certainly in my experience the vast majority of every residence around me puts theirs out sometime the evening before - after 5, but mostly before midnight.
The only reference I can find online about it is this, which only specifies that you can't put it out any earlier than 5pm the day before collection.
Now I just put my trash out because it's really smelly and gross and some idiot yelled at me, "It's actually midnight!" I didn't see who it was which kind of sucks because I'd like to know who the asshole is that feels like he needs to yell at me when I'm sure 80% of the neighborhood will have their trash out shortly.
So really, I want to know if he's right or not.
Does anybody know?
Update:
Eat me, jerkoff. It's not a real rule, it's a "suggestion" of the Beacon Hill Civic Association.
